Wow what a fabulous first summer we have had working at Gosport Discovery Centre, Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve and at The Cabin in Alverstoke Infant School. I could not be more pleased with all our exciting projects and I can not wait to do more!!
Firstly we had a lovely Mischief and Mayhem Children's Workshop at the Gosport Discovery Centre where the children got to make magic wallets, pom pom shooters, and marshmallow catapults! The marshmallows didn't last very long though, but the children were definitely mystified by how the magic wallet worked!
At Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve our Fairy & Elf Door workshop was very well received, so much so we had to turn people away on our first day! It was wonderful to see all the beautiful Fairy & Elf Door designs. We had Bee's and England Football Fairy & Elf Doors as well as a couple of Christmas Elf Doors!
Our first ever Summer Craft Club was very successful too at The Cabin in Alverstoke Infant School, we were even sold out for our Explosion of Colour Club. The children got to make so many different crafts including Salt Paintings, Bottle Top Bugs and Pinecone Birds.
Although you will have to wait until next year for our Summer Craft Club again we do have a Halloween Spooktacular Craft Club on this October Half Term and there will be a Monthly Craft Club Starting this September!
