Well what a fabulous first year we have had! Since starting in April running a spoon puppet workshop at the Kings Theatre, Portsmouth's Open Day it has been non stop. We have run some lovely drop in, family and children's, workshops at Gosport Discovery Centre, making mischief by building marshmallow catapults and monstrous mummies at Halloween . During the school summer holiday's we visited Titchfield Haven National Nature Reserve bringing with us a bit of sparkle and magic designing and decorating Fairy and Elf Doors which proved to be very popular! During the summer holidays we also hosted 3 craft clubs where the children got to do tie dye t-shirts with sharpies, make pinecone birds and bottle top bugs!
At Halloween we taught the children how to make gruesome scars by using house hold items, as well as making ghouls in a jar and wonderful pumpkin magnets. We finished 2018 off with a wonderful Festive Family Craft Club at where the children and adults made reindeer ornaments out of cork, primitive Snowmen dolly pegs and a fabulous 3D tree card.
