What a busy summer we had this year! I'm not sure I have worked this much since having my little boy. We started with a little unexpected event for Portsmouth City Council as part of the HAF project, providing families with free lunches during the School Holidays. Mrs Blossom Makes provided 2 Second Wold War themed crafts for the families to partake in, making seedling pots and painting vegetable characters with natural paint brushes.
In Alverstoke we ran 2 weeks of our School Holiday Craft Club, Totally Tropical and Sizzling Summer! We made Flip Flops Giant Ice Lollies, Beach huts and much more! Mrs Blossom Makes also provided two weeks of Creative Arts Camp at Fairthorne Manor YMCA. The children made juggling balls and learnt to juggle, explored using paper mache to make models, made button keyrings and many more things!
We had a wonderfully busy summer and are finally looking forward to providing After School Craft Clubs again after 18 months of not being able to. I am also quietly working hard behind the scenes to get our Halloween School Holidays Craft Clubs live and kicking! (but not too scary!)
