I can hardly believe the summer holidays have already been and gone for another year.
This was our second summer running our craft club over three weeks. We had three
sessions including, Crazy Crafts, Summer Fun & Outta This world. The children got to try out some crazy paint techniques, make rocking recycled robots and not forgetting got a little messy making SLIME!!
After the success of Fairy & Elf Door decorating at Titchfield Haven last year we wan
ted to offer the same activity again. Titchfield Haven were also very generous giving families the opportunity to explore part of the reserve for free and see the wonderful Fairy Doors they have hiding in nooks and crannies on the boardwalk. It was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the reserve some who had never been to it before!
Also at Titchfield Haven we offered some shorted pocket money craft pop up workshops for family to enjoy. Although the weather was not very kind to us for our Bubble Mania Session we did not let the wind and rain dampen our spirits. Titchfield Haven went above and beyond to accommodate us as we found a special place with doors leading out to the courtyard that was somewhat protected form the elements, giving us just the right amount of shelter to enjoy our wonderful bubble wand creations!
We enjoyed a couple of pop up workshop in a new venue, The Gaiety Bar. We tried to complement there Toddler Thursday sessions with some Ice Lolly bunting and Fairy Door & Wands.
Finally we had fun at the Kings Theatre Annual Open day making Aladdin Lamps to complement their 2019 Panto!
