When referring to “we” , “us”, “our” in this policy and elsewhere it is referring to the services provided within the business Mrs Blossom Makes

 

WE WILL NEVER 

 

We do not use any of the information you provide to us for any other use, other than what will be discussed in this document.

 

SHARING YOUR DATA

 

We will not sell any of your personal individual data which we hold to third parties from Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Paypal, www.mrsblossommakes.com and any information given over the phone – this includes but is not limited to your name, address, email address or payment information. 

 

WHAT WE USE

 

In the transaction process, where you have already agreed and committed to a booking,

 

  1. Your name

  2. Your child/ren’s name/s (when booking a children’s workshop or party) 

  3. Email address

  4. Contact number

  5. Relevant medical information that we need to be aware of while you or your child in participating in a workshop.

 

HOW YOUR INFORMATION WILL BE USED BY US 

 

We will be using your personal data in different ways, and the function we perform will depend on the information we require. We will be using your name and contact details to:

  1. Send you messages via post, email or over the telephone. We must use this data to contact you in regards to your bookings, enquiries and emergencies.

  2. Send you information and updates that relate to your request.

  3. To manage and protect our site security, particularly to detect and prevent fraud.

  4. For Track & Trace if anyone attending a Craft Club or Workshop test Positive for Covid 19.

 

HOW WE WILL USE YOUR DATA IF YOU’RE ONLY BROWSING OUR SITE

 

When users visit and view the site, we do not generally collect personal data, saved as to “browsing data". The platform which we use, Wix.com,  automatically records some browsing data, such as the name of the internet access provider, the site of origin, pages visited, date and duration of the visit, etc. Such information allows you to access the site and use certain services, though this browsing data may also be aggregated and then used by us anonymously to test that the site is functioning properly. You can request to see the information collected by WIX or be deleted. 

 

BANK TRANSFERS

 

The customer will have no payment protection available and disputes would only have to be dealt with between Mrs Blossom Makes and themselves. An account number and sort code would be required and would not be stored anywhere other than on a password protected bank account, Barclays PLC, with the only sole account owner, Joanna Blossom.

CHANGES TO THIS DOCUMENT

 

This Privacy Policy may be reviewed and amended in order to comply with new legal provisions or altered procedures for data processing.

We will promptly inform you of any update by publishing it in this section of the site and if significant changes are made we will contact you at the email address you have provided to send a copy, so you are able to see any changes to the Privacy Policy before continuing to use our service.

 

SECURITY

 

We employ security measures to protect your personal information from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage, however, the transmission of information using Wi-Fi networks and cellular data networks may not be completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to us using our website.

 

KEEPING YOUR DATA

 

This information is only gathered to allow us to fulfil your booking.  I will only retain your details for as long as necessary in order to process the booking  and we will securely store any data collected during that period. I retain personal data related to orders or customer queries for six years for tax purposes.  After this time I will delete your data from my records.

 

If reasonably necessary or required to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce our terms and conditions, we may also keep hold of some of your information as required.

 

You have the right to know what personal data I hold about you, and to ask for that data to be changed or deleted. You also have the right to complain to the ICO if you believe there is a problem with the way I handle your data.
